W 2015 conductor Sergey Smbatyan initiated one more project – The “24/04” Orkiestra światowa.
Na kwiecień 24, 1915 (24/04/1915), several hundred Armenian intellectuals and representatives of national elite were arrested and subsequently eliminated by the Ottoman Empire. This was the start of the dark events of the Armenian Genocide… A century later, on April 24, 2015 (24/04/2015), the birth of the “24/04” World Orchestra announced the start of the new era – the Era of Revival.
