Hvem andre enn Daniel Barenboim (nå 72 år) displays such mastery over Beethoven’s piano music with the possible exception of Andras Schiff, Brendel eller Uchida?. Den “Pathetique” Sonata vises her fra en circa 2004 Berlin performance.The name was actually brought forth by Beethoven’s music publisher at that time.
