Plácido Domingo & Luciano Pavarotti – O Mimì, Tu Più Non Torni.
Im September 1991 the Metropolitan Opera celebrated it’s 25th anniversary at Lincoln Center by performing three different acts from a selection of popular Met productions. In der Schlussakte (II Die Fledermaus zu handeln) gab es einige besondere Gastspiele renommierten Opernstars.
Two of those guests were Plácido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti doing an unusual duet for two tenors. Sie gesungen “O Mimì, Tu Più Non Torni” from Giacomo Puccini’s opera “La Bohème” wobei Domingo singt die Rolle des Marcello.
James Levine dirigiert.
