in septembrie 1991 the Metropolitan Opera celebrated it’s 25th anniversary at Lincoln Center by performing three different acts from a selection of popular Met productions. În actul final (Actul II din Liliacul Die) au existat unele spectacole deosebite oaspeți de stele extrem de renume de operă.

Two of those guests were Plácido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti doing an unusual duet for two tenors. Ei cântă “O Mimì, Tu Più Non Torni” from Giacomo Puccini’s opera “La Bohème” prin Domingo cântă partea Marcello.
