2. But we’ll still admit that the California burrito — carne asada + fries — is what dreams are made of:

3. Because we know a thing or two about good beer:

4. Because we’ll never outgrow the San Diego Zoo:

10. And because Petco Park is downright gorgeous:
Never mind that we rarely fill all the seats and that the Padres haven’t won the pennant since 1998. It’s still a lovely place to see a ballgame, Sawa kabisa?
11. Because our signs run the gamut:
There’s something for everyone.
12. Because you can ditch your car for the day if you need to:
Kwa mara nyingine, it’s not the end of the world if you don’t have a car. Kutoka trolleys kwa treni, if you just don’t feel like dealing with the traffic downtown or the big game bottleneck at Qualcomm, kuna njia ya kupata kote ni.
13. Because with 70 maili ya pwani, there’s always something on the water:
Like the massive USS Midway.
14. Because Balboa Park is bigger than Central Park:
Pamoja na nyumba za sanaa, bustani, Globe, zoo, makumbusho na zaidi ya dazeni.
15. Because beaches are never far:
(Are we even katika the beach that often? Nope.)
16. And if you get tired of those, kila kitu kingine ni tu gari mbali:
