The three finalists of the National Cello Competition 2016 had to play Shostakovich’s first Cello Concerto together with the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory of Amsterdam and conductor Judith Kubitz.

The National Cello Competition is inextricably linked to the Cello Biennale Amsterdam. Dutch or in The Netherlands studying cello talent may present themselves in three rounds to an international jury.
