Lukas’ father is the famous Lithuanian pianist Petras Geniušas, and his mother is Moscow State Conservatory professor Xennia Knorre (Russian: Ксения Вадимовна Кнорре). Lukas’s grandmother is the famous Russian pianist Vera Gornostayeva (Russian: Вера Васильевна Горностаева).
